Our story

A family success story

Company founder Godobert Reisenthel demonstrated a sense of design when he laid the foundation for today's company in 1972 with the small store "go in - N°6". He quickly recognized the potential of the catering industry, which was increasingly developing into a leisure and lifestyle offering. Since 2007, his son Maurus Reisenthel has continued the clear B2B focus and the fair, partnership-based cooperation with the industry. Since 2018, the brothers Nicolai and Maurus Reisenthel have been managing GO IN together as dual leaders, complementing each other's expertise and sharing a vision for the family business.

1970s: Design for the "Swinging Seventies

The small lifestyle store "go in - N°6" opens at Altheimer Eck 6. With small furniture and accessories for the table, it meets the contemporary taste of modern Munich.

1980s: the focus on gastronomy

Italian restaurants and French cafés are booming in Germany. GO IN offers the dynamically developing industry contemporary furnishings. With Mediterranean bentwood chairs, cast feet and marble tops - and bistro tables like in the middle of Paris.

1990s: Expansion in Landsberg am Lech

The new company headquarters southwest of Munich offers room for development: the collections and the modular system for individual design options are created. And in the outdoor sector, as well, GO IN becomes the first address for restaurant furnishings.

2000s: GO International

In 2001, the first subsidiary opens in Vienna with its own showroom. Berlin and Paris follow. GO IN presents its collections and new in-house developments at the leading European trade fairs.

2010s: aiming high

With the flourishing export business and a growing collection, the need for space also increases: GO IN acquires additional space and builds a modern high-bay warehouse with over 800,000 items - for short delivery times.

2020s: customized solutions

The catering industry is becoming increasingly specialized and GO IN is continuously expanding its range of models and variants: The company is servicing special requests, setting up key management and launching the GO IN Project for professional support in furnishing planning. The modern online shop makes digital purchasing easy and convenient.
