Solid North: scandinavian mid-century design
Designing a restaurant means more than just placing furniture in a room and decorating it with matching accessories. Interior design conveys a concept, appeals to one or more target groups, tells stories and, in the best case, arouse emotions. GO IN has created a series of coherent looks based on its extensive range of professional furniture.
Where it is cool, wet and dark outside for many months of the year, people have always enjoyed making themselves comfortable and beautiful inside: the tasteful design of the interior has a long tradition in Scandinavia. The famous scandinavian design, which was shaped in the 1930s by great designers such as Arne Jacobsen and Alvar Aalto, inspires the world of design still to today.
Functionality meets design
Design from Scandinavia stands for functionality and clear forms, for straight lines, but also for concise curves - paired with individual expressiveness and the courage to use striking yet harmonious color. Since the 1950s, the unique formal language of scandinavian design has spread beyond the borders of the region to all corners of the world - into living rooms, modern offices and also gastronomic interiors and the hotel industry around the globe.
Our "Solid North" look picks up on the scandinavian attitude to life. The furniture that we have selected and grouped from our extensive range for this look is characterized by reduced design language and solid workmanship: functionality meets design is a motto.
Selected products from GO IN for the "Solid North" look in the food service industry
The model "Marot" presents itself classically in its form. Its beech wood frame is also available in merano brown and black. The seat cushion with gently rounded corners is available as an artificial leather cover in black, coffee brown or taupe. Marot is also available without an seat cushion.
The trademark of our "Franka" chair is the strikingly rounded backrest. The artificial leather seat cushion (available in taupe, coffee brown or black) picks up on the rounding. Pole-shaped legs make it look light and simple, yet at the same time solid and stable -in particular, the two angled back legs communicate steadiness and give the chair a certain extravagance. Made of beech wood, optionally available in merano brown and black.
